[Workbench] [Turnings] [Turnings 2]
hehehehehe
doh!

Bob's Burnt Offerings was put together if for no other reasons than to cure boredom, and perhaps a need to learn at least a little about computers. This site is just me showing some of my work. There is nothing for sale here.  My hobbies have changed over the years I won't bore you with the details, I have a lot of pictures so I will try to stick with that.
Don't be afraid to check the other pages out, every picture is a thumbnail if you click on them they will get bigger.
Hope you enjoy! Bob Hryhoriw

Above you'll find a couple of  pictures of the coffee table that started my adventures into pyrography. My brother Wally made it for me. You can find a couple links to his site on this page. The top is, broken floor tile, polished rocks, amber, quartz, and even an Indian arrow head. All glued down then grouted (lipstick red.) The molding is ebonized oak. There are also 15 separate woodburnings on this table. I poured a high gloss two part self leveling finish to level off the top. I used a polymerized Tung oil/satin varnish mixture for the rest. You can also find 3 more pictures of that table on the bottom of this page.
The workbench? All done by me check out the rest of it here.

Weather Station
some of my first few pens

Here's some more of my work. The weather station is on a piece of Elm that was rescued first from the dump then from the firewood pile. I finished it with orange shellac and wax and added a homemade wooden pen & a leather pouch for a notepad holder. And the pens you ask?... well  I bought myself a lathe for Christmas 2005.

Above is a print by my friend  Jeff Dubasov.

Above is a frame I made with lumber from a 100 yr. old wooden threshing machine.

I really like these ebonized oak frames.
